Carbongen is the 1st Spanish company and one of the few in Europe that manufactures 100% Activated Carbon Fabrics, woven and non-woven. These materials are a technical textiles used in water filtering systems, odour removal and air cleaning systems, protective clothing, gas masks, insoles, medical applications, etc. As molecular filters (in air and liquid filtration systems) are the most suitable material at the moment.
Recently, Carbongen got the certificate as Technological Company (EIBT, "Empresa Innovadora de Base Tecnológica") from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Technology. Our technology was developed with the helpful of the University of Alicante.
